Doug Rawlyk — Owner and Founder

When Doug started working for custom builders over 25 years ago as a journeyman carpenter, his keen eye for detail enabled him to notice processes that he thought could be improved. Rawlyk Developments was born out of this desire to reach a higher standard in home building.

Every home that Rawlyk Developments undertakes, Doug treats as his own. He dedicates his extensive knowledge of how to build a home from the ground up to ensure you receive a solidly constructed, beautiful home.

Doug and his team will be right by your side to help you through the many important decisions and details that arise throughout the building process.

Dave Furze — Project Manager

Dave holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and has additional education in project management. Dave orders the products you select, schedules the sub-trades who work on your home, keeps your project schedule on target and is always there to answer your questions.

Maurice Caron — Construction Manager

As a journeyman carpenter, Maurice has been involved in the construction of large commercial projects and custom single-family homes for 35 years. Maurice checks each site daily to manage trade activities, equipment and material deliveries, and keep daily progress reports. Having Maurice on site means issues and discrepancies are quickly resolved.

Mel Buhler — Service Manager

Mel has been helping Rawlyk Developments coordinate and execute outstanding finishing work for six years. With 20 years of experience in cabinet and furniture making, you can count on Mel and his team of sub-trades to provide quality and timely service on your finished home.

Karen Rawlyk — Administration

Karen’s background in design and 15 years in the development industry have given her comprehensive knowledge of the home building industry you don’t want to be without. Karen assists with the financial aspects of the home building process.
